New Landscaping Project With Concrete Products Award Hokua • Owner: Hokua Development Group • Landscape Architect: Brownlie & Lee • Structural Engineer: Handel Architects LLP • General Contractor: Albert C Kobayashi, Inc.   Construction of the $133 million Hokua high rise began on Oct. 16, 2003, and was substantially completed at the end of December 2005.   The concrete elements of the landscaping provide a clean framework for the foliage surrounding the 40-story structure. Benedict Lee, was the landscape architect.
